More exciting details about the supercharged guest appearance of "Pretty Little Liars" star Brandon Jones in "The Big Bang Theory" season 10 have been revealed.
As teased by actress Mayim Bialik, who plays the role of Amy in the series, the actor will play the role The Flash in one episode in the next season.
The nature of his appearance in "The Big Bang Theory" season 10 has recently been explained by executive producer Steve Molaro to TV Line.
"He appears in one of Sheldon's [Jim Parsons] dreams," he revealed. "He does insane things. It's a Flash we may not be used to," he went on to say, hinting that fans will see a new kind of Flash on the show.
The Flash has been referenced multiple times on the show. At one point, the gang even dressed up as the scarlet speedster for Halloween, so the superhero is definitely a big deal for the group of friends.
Molaro also spoke about the status of the couples in "The Big Bang Theory" season 10. It is being hinted that Sheldon's mother and Leonard's (Johnny Galecki) father indeed are smitten for each other. However, this may not totally be the reason that Leonard and Penny's (Kaley Cuoco) re-do wedding will be messed up. Fans can leave that up to the latter's "neurotic" mom played by Katey Sagal, and brother played by Jack McBrayer.
"This is [Penny's mom's] first time meeting Leonard's parents and friends and she wants to make a really good first impression. How she and her family come off to these people is extremely important to her," Molaro explained.
As for Sheldon and Amy, they will take their relationship to the next level in "The Big Bang Theory" season 10 by talking about the possibility of moving in together. However, this will be positioned as an "experiment."
"Because the easiest way to get Sheldon on board with the idea is to disguise it as a [situation] where he's collecting data, and something he can ultimately reconsider in the name of science," Molaro explained.
"The Big Bang Theory" season 10 will premiere Monday, Sept. 19 at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
