One of the most popular television franchises is getting a spinoff and among the people who are announced to join the show is fan-favorite Peter Kraus.

Kraus, the runner-up in "The Bachelorette" for Rachel Lindsay, was thought to become the next Bachelor in another season of the show. However, that was not the case, disappointing many fans who have watched the show. However, fans will still be able to see him again as he joins the lineup in the upcoming spinoff, "The Bachelor: Winter Games."

The show's creator, Mike Fleiss, shared in a tweet that Kraus will be looking for love and looking to win in the upcoming spinoff. The spinoff will have former Bachelor and Bachelorette stars at a luxury resort in Vermont and competing in winter-themed athletic games while trying to find love, similar to "Bachelor in Paradise." Fleiss added that the viewers will also see some of the stars from versions of the show in other countries.

Chris Harrison will also be hosting the show. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Harrison expressed his excitement in getting to host this edition of the show. He added that they are still working out the creative aspects. It seems that Harrison will not only be hosting, but he will also be producing it as well.

ABC reality head Rob Mills also told The Hollywood Reporter that it will have the DNA of "Bachelor Pad" in terms of the competition. With the inclusion of contestants from the international versions of the show, they are hoping to see some international romances bloom.

No other stars have been announced to come back for the upcoming edition of the show, but Harrison has his top picks. Harrison hopes that the twins Emily and Haley Ferguson are joining "Winter Games" after their brief stint in "Bachelor in Paradise." He also hopes that NFL player Ryan Sutter will come to "Winter Games" as well.

"The Bachelor Winter Games" will premiere in February 2018 on ABC.
