'Terminator 5' movie news: Genesis not in title anymore? Plot includes time travel

Just recently, Arnold Schwarzenegger shed light on his comeback in "Terminator 5: Genesis." However, it has been rumored that the title of the movie will no longer include "Genesis" in it.

According to Bleeding Cool, Alan Taylor will be dropping the "Genesis" and leave the title with just the simple "Terminator." Why is this? The site reports that it could be due to "various bits of licensing, merchandise and toys that will tie into the next Terminator film."

Does this even make any sense at all? Cinema Blend doesn't seem to agree, as the site asked, "When the hell did the 'Terminator' movies appeal to kids?" They do have a good point. Whatever the subtitle for the movie is, the movie is bound to be unsuitable for children.

Meanwhile, the art conceptualization for the movie looks like it's going to take pointers from the adaptation of "Mad Max", which Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy stars in. The designer of "Terminator" has taken inspiration from the original "Mad Max," which gave him good ideas on the artwork for the fifth "Terminator" movie.

According to Enstarz, Victor Martinez is going on board to supervise the artwork. He has worked before in "Terminator: Salvation," which puts him in a good position to work with the visuals.

Moving on to the plot of the film, this isn't a reboot or a continuation of "Salvation." "Terminator: Genesis" is set between the first two movies. The plot is about moving back and forth in between the timeline with the help of time travel, which leaves people asking, will Terminator age?

Well, Schwarzenegger clearly answered this in an interview with MTV, saying "The way that the character is written, it's a machine underneath. It's this metal skeleton. But above that is human flesh. And the Terminator's flesh ages, just like any other human being's flesh. Maybe not as fast. But it definitely ages."

"Terminator 5" hits the theaters July 2015.
