Someone is about to come in the continuation of The CW hit series, "Supergirl" season 3. The member of the Legion of Super-Heroes, Brainiac 5, is about to join Kara Danvers/Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) to save the world.

The L-Corp CEO Samantha Arias (Odette Annable) is set to become Reign in the television adaptation of the DC Comics character. Played by the "Defiance" alum Jesse Rath, Brainiac 5 is going to help Supergirl and the DEO to take her down.

Brainiac 5 is a "half-computer and half-organic life" with a level 12 intellect from the 31st century. He is from the planet of Colu and first introduced in 1961 by Jerry Siegel and Jim Mooney in "Action Comics" #276. Aside from helping her to save the world, he, too, might become Kara's love interest. Will the two end up together in "Supergirl" season 3?

In fact, in the DC Comics, he is Supergirl's romantic partner. However, as Kara still has not moved on from Mon-El (Chris Wood), who is also a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes, will there be a brewing love triangle between the three?

In an interview with TVLine, the series' co-showrunner Andrew Kreisberg teased that someone who is coming will like Kara a lot in "Supergirl" season 3. "It will be a lot of fun," he said. He went on to say that they have been hinting the coming of the Legion since the first season when the Legion ring was seen in the Fortress of Solitude.

"So the Legion will have a presence," he confirmed. Also, as Supergirl is about to face her greatest enemy, she will need all the help and support she can have. Kreisberg also revealed that the Legion will be playing a big role in taking Reign down.

Brainiac 5 is going to be introduced in "Supergirl" season 3 episode 10 titled "Legion of Super-Heroes," although its official release date has yet to be announced. The show airs every Monday at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
