Nintendo's "Super Mario Odyssey" received a near perfect review from gamers. The 3D platform video game is one of the most successful video games with over millions of sold copies worldwide. Recently, a new trailer was released for the holidays, which gives fans another glimpse of its gameplay. Meanwhile, a limited edition cereal will soon be released featuring the game.

As the game's sale continues to increase, the new trailer is another way to encourage buyers to purchase a copy of the game. The clip runs for about half a minute that shows potential new players. Aside from that, the capabilities of Cappy is also shown in the video. The fun and colorful trailer encourages fans to capture their imagination.

Game developer and publisher Nintendo is anticipating more sales of the game this holiday season. With that, the company is working on more marketing materials like the limited edition "Super Mario Odyssey" cereal. Nintendo collaborated with Kellogg's for this cereal that comes in a collectible box with a maze on the back. It is a mix of berry flavor and colorful power-up marshmallows.

The cereal box can also function as an Amiibo. This means that when a player taps the box on the Nintendo Switch, it will give gold coins or hearts. The limited edition cereal will hit U.S. shelves on Dec.11. Apart from this, Nintendo has been offering discounts for the game since the beginning of the holiday shopping season. Fans could also look forward to possible flash sales closer to Christmas day.

Licensing deals and branded goods help the company reach younger players. This includes the cereal as well as things like Mario toothbrushes and even a line of Converse Mario shoes. In the future, the company will have more deals like these to promote the game.

"Super Mario Odyssey" is an installment in the "Super Mario" series. It follows Mario and Cappy as they set on a journey across various worlds to save Princess Peach from Bowser, who intends to marry her. The game is currently available only on the Nintendo Switch.
