Sophie Turner is famous not just for her blockbuster roles such as Sansa Stark in the hit HBO series "Game of Thrones" and the younger version of Jean Grey in the X-Men franchise, but also because of her partying habits. However, the Hollywood actress recently revealed that she has mostly stopped partying during the filming of "The Dark Phoenix."

"I think I had like two nights of proper partying and on a five-month shoot that's not very much," shares Turner during an exclusive interview with Entertainment Weekly. "It was funny the first night that I went to bed early we were all at like this big group dinner and I had to work the next day and I was like, 'Guys it's 9 p.m. and I really have to be in bed.'"

"All the producers were so shocked because they know me and they were like, 'Are you okay?' You only really get one shot at something like this. I was like 'I cannot mess this up with a hangover'," she added.

Apparently, the immense pressure of playing such an iconic character in the X-Men universe makes Turner nervous, hence her newfound regimented party schedule. To prepare for her role, Turner spent weeks studying about schizophrenia and multiple personality disorder, as well as rehearsing with director Kinberg weeks prior to shooting.

The 21-year old actress first took on the role of Jean Grey in the 2016 film "X-Men: Apocalypse." Since the film is set years before the first film of the X-Men franchise, the main cast, such as Jean Grey, has to be played by the younger/teenage versions of themselves. Sophie Turner inherited the role from Famke Janssen, the Dutch actress.

In "The Dark Phoenix," Jean Grey's alter-ego Phoenix will be awakened due to a solar flare hitting the X-Jet during a space rescue mission issued by Professor Charles Xavier (James McAvoy). Jean Grey must then try to control the dark power inside her, else it consumes her whole self completely.

Aside from Sophie Turner, other main cast members include Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Evan Peters as Quicksilver, and Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique. The film is going to be directed by Simon Kinberg, who also wrote the screenplay for the 2006 film "X-Men: The Last Stand."

"The Dark Phoenix" will hit the screens on Nov. 2, 2018.
