Frank (William H. Macy) ventures into a booming import-export business while Fiona (Emmy Rossum) is considering moving into her own place after Ford (Richard Flood) shows her a side of Chicago she has never seen before in the next episode of Showtime's comedy-drama television series "Shameless."

According to the episode's synopsis, a few other characters will be sharing the spotlight in the upcoming installment including Ian (Cameron Monaghan) who confronts a pastor who is trying to "pray the gay away," and Debbie (Emma Kenney) who is looking for a way to afford school while raising Fanny and being unemployed.

After not having aired on Dec. 24, the upcoming episode titled "Frank's Northern Shuttle Express," should have plenty of interesting storylines to compensate for the hiatus. According to Cartermatt, Frank is seemingly qualified for an import-export business given that he has taken some questionable things across borders in the past.

The promo for the upcoming episode begins with Frank, giving a speech in front of a crowd, claiming that until America can distinguish between good brown people and bad brown people, it is his goal to get them into Canada. He is then shown with one of the ladies from the crowd riding his back.

The trailer also shows Ian inside a church where the pastor is said to "turn homosexuals back to normal." He is later seen talking in front of the churchgoers asking if any of them want to get out of the establishment. Ian is then shown provoking one of the men inside the church saying "You're going to get your ass kicked by a homo."

Fiona is also featured in the trailer complaining about how her family is driving her insane as there is always strange people in their house. After she is asked if she has ever lived on her own before, she is seen dancing in a hallway wearing only her underwear, when a man suddenly exits his room to see her shocked expression.

"Shameless" season 8 episode 8 will air on Sunday, Dec. 31 on Showtime.
