One of the most-anticipated games of 2018 is "Red Dead Redemption 2" after its original game was released in 2010. Recently, news about the game's official release date was revealed.

According to Game Informer, the game will be out on June 8 based on the website of Danish retailer shop Coolshop. But it was later on removed since there is no official announcement of the release yet. The retailer shop has a reputation of leaking dates for other games.

They are known to leak the release date of "Grand Theft Auto V" months before Rockstar made an announcement. They also leaked some major updates about "GTA Online." Because of this, Netherlands-based retailer Coolshop is considered an authentic source by some gamers.

TechnoChops notes that the June 8 release date is not far from the spring 2018 release date from Rockstar Games. However, fans need to take this news with a grain of salt since it is not an official announcement from the developer.

"Red Dead Redemption 2" was initially announced in October 2016. Rockstar Games originally said that it will be out in autumn 2017, but it later announced that it will be delayed until spring 2018. For now, gamers can pre-order the game via the website of Rockstar Games. It can also be pre-ordered from Amazon for physical copies, while digital copies can be directly ordered from PlayStation and Xbox websites.

Until now, the game developer is quiet about the details of "Red Dead Redemption 2." The game is described as an epic tale of life in America's unforgiving heartland. It will be set in an atmospheric world that will be the foundation for a new online multiplayer experience.

The "Red Dead Redemption" game, which was released on PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2010 received positive feedback from reviewers and gamers because of its gameplay and story. Reports reveal that the game sold over 15 million copies and was also recognized in different gaming publications and game awards.
