Land Rover has announced the Range Rover SV Coupe — a full-size luxury SUV with a two-door silhouette.

In line with their 70th anniversary this year, the British automaker has created a limited-edition model with a body style that is reminiscent of the original Range Rover that was released in 1970.

Though the Range Rover SV Coupe won't be revealed until the Geneva International Motor Show in March, Land Rover has released a teaser image of the luxury SUV coupe's interior.

The photo shows a four-passenger cabin with the front bucket seats upholstered in white leather and the rear bucket seats furnished with black leather. The contrast between the colors is further accented by diamond quilting. The seats are separated by a wood panel console.

Based on the arrangement of the cabin, it appears that the Range Rover SV Coupe will have a shorter wheelbase than the standard Range Rover models. The coupe designation also raises the possibility of a lower, raked roofline.

There's no preview of the exterior yet but the automaker did say that the Range Rover SV Coupe will have a dramatic and seductive design that will resonate with customers on an emotional level.

"The Range Rover SV Coupe is a highly compelling design with peerless refinement and uncompromised sophistication from its breathtaking exterior proportions to its sumptuous, beautifully appointed interior," said Gerry McGovern, Land Rover chief design officer.

Land Rover also revealed that the limited-edition luxury SUV coupe will be offered with bespoke features. Under the hood, it is expected to feature a 500-horsepower 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine.

Only 999 examples of the Range Rover SV Coupe will be produced worldwide. Each unit will be assembled by hand by Special Vehicles Operations at Land Rover's factory in Warwickshire, United Kingdom.

The Range Rover SV Coupe will be revealed in full at the Geneva Motor Show on March 6, 11:45 a.m. CET/5:45 a.m. EST.
