It looks like Theodore Bagwell (Robert Knepper), better known as T-Bag, will have fans question where his loyalty truly lies in "Prison Break" season 5.

The series' official Twitter account hints that the character could be a friend while he could also be a foe to Michael (Wentworth Miller) and Lincoln (Dominic Purcell).

Not much is known about the plot of "Prison Break" season 5, and what T-Bag is up to. The trailer for the new season, however, showed that it was him who revealed to Lincoln that his brother is alive.

He also gave him the information on his location and documents that will help Lincoln locate Michael. Knowing T-Bag, who fans loved to hate as the show's villain, it looks like he has an agenda of his own. Whether or not he has something planned against the brothers remains to be seen for now, but it looks like he is not there to completely help them in "Prison Break" season 5.

Fans speculate that he has made some sort of deal for his freedom, which would explain why he is out of prison even though he was sentenced to life imprisonment. This might be him fulfilling his side of the bargain. Viewers know that with T-Bag, things just get so unpredictable. The character is mysterious, making him a favorite among fans. It remains to be seen what he will be truly up to in "Prison Break" season 5, but fans are guaranteed to enjoy finding out.

The writers also revealed on Twitter that some members of the team are still putting together the episodes, which suggests that there is still post-production work being done.

This will also explain why "Prison Break" season 5 still has no release date. However, they already said that it will premiere before April next year. The writers also reiterated that the revival will be an emotional ride, and advises fans to keep their tissues close when they watch it.

"Prison Break" season 5 is slated for a spring 2017 premiere on FOX
