Since the release of the first Pokémon games and its accompanying anime television series, the franchise main character, Ash Ketchum, has managed to retain the same relative look over the years. There are even jokes about how he has not aged at all within the series, as he apparently is able to retain his boyish looks despite all his years spent within the Pokémon anime universe. However, a brand new anime series that is set to be released by The Pokémon Company seems to now depict the protagonist in an even younger look as the anime features an entirely new style and design.

The Pokémon Company has recently announced that it will be releasing a brand new anime television series based on their recently released games, "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon." The new series — titled "Pokémon Sun and Moon" — will be showcasing the same relative storyline as the aforementioned games. The company has also announced that it will be airing the new show in November in Japan.

Along with the announcement of the new show, a brand new teaser trailer was also released which revealed the anime's new drawing style and design to fans of the franchise. The trailer itself lasts only 28 seconds, but it still managed to show the different feel and look of the new series. A lot of fans were, of course, surprised to see a brand new Ash Ketchum, who seems to be more cartoonish and younger than he was in the original "Pokémon" anime series.

The clip also shows his fledgling adventure as he travels to the Alola region to study and become a Pokémon Master. The Alola region is the main setting for the recently released games and will contain some brand new Pokémon that should also be featured in the anime. Along with the new Pokémon and the new region, several new characters — both good and bad — are also set to be introduced in the anime.
