One of the main draws for the highly popular augmented reality mobile video game "Pokémon Go" is the challenge of finding the rarest of the creatures and then evolving them into their most powerful forms. Several rare Pokémon do spawn in the same relative area — otherwise known as nests — making it easier for players to collect them.
However, it seems like Niantic wants to challenge players even further as the company has reportedly shuffled the locations of nests and their spawn rates.
Players who locate these nests usually convey the information through different forums, groups, or websites, allowing other players to catch and collect these rare Pokémon. Unfortunately, now that Niantic has apparently shuffled the locations of the nests, the majority of the locations posted online may no longer be valid.
Several players have already reported these changes, with some claiming that different Pokémon are now spawning in the usual nests they visit. One player claims that Scythers seem to be coming out of an Electabuzz nest that he frequents. Other players have reported that the spawning of the Pokémon has also apparently increased in some nests.
The only way for some players to evolve specific types of Pokémon into their final form is to catch a lot of them in order to acquire their candies. Now that the Pokémon's nests have been moved and shuffled, some players may now have to go back to the drawing board in order to once again pinpoint the exact next location of the Pokémon they need. Niantic, of course, is not in the practice of announcing these changes as they seem to just implement them without notice.
The last nest shuffle took place last month, which is being referred to as the big August migration. Now that the nests have been shuffled once again, it may be possible for migrations to be happening more frequently moving forward.
