There are only a few days remaining for the month of January, and for the PlayStation Plus subscribers, it is time to know the next lineup of free video games in February. According to the latest predictions, the February 2018 list will feature at least one popular game title that the players have long wished to play for free. The rumors are down with two critically-acclaimed video games, "Dark Souls 2" and "Far Cry 4."

It is expected that the February 2018 free games list for PlayStation Plus will include at least one huge video game, just like in any other month. As per the recent rumors, it might be the right time to finally introduce FromSoftware and Bandai Namco's AAA title, "Dark Souls 2," to the PS Plus catalog. However, another well-received video game could be the highlight of the February list, which is Ubisoft's "Far Cry 4."

While PlayStation Plus subcribers do enjoy the monthly lineup of free games, many players are wishing to see more big titles in the catalog. Some people even claim that Sony is putting too much indie games to the PS Plus selection, and with this, the February list could finally give a nice treat to PS Plus subscribers with both "Dark Souls 2" and "Far Cry 4" in the list.

It might be a rare move for Sony to include two popular video games in PlayStation Plus for a single month, but it would not be the first time if ever this happens this February. In fact, the current January 2018 lineup has two well-received game titles, "Batman: The Telltale Series" and "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided."

Meanwhile, the indie game prediction for the PlayStation Plus February 2018 has 10tons Ltd's "King Oddball" on the top spot. The game will let the players take the role of King as they use his tongue to skip over the obstacles in the field. More indie titles might be present next month, especially if Sony includes only one mainstream game in the lineup.

More details about the PlayStation Plus February 2018 free games list will be announced soon as the end of the month approaches.
