With only less than two weeks remaining in January, it is time for PlayStation Plus subscribers to look forward to Sony's next lineup of free video games next month. PS Plus members are probably having a great time with the free titles in the Plus catalog for this month, although based on the latest rumors, the February 2018 list will include a popular PlayStation exclusive title that players couldn't wait to get into their hands.

According to Twinfinite, the February 2018 free games list for PlayStation Plus will include at least one huge video game, just like every other month. There are speculations that Sony will introduce a PlayStation exclusive game this time around. With this, it is likely that the 2016 remastered edition of "Ratchet and Clank" will make it to the PS Plus free games catalog this February. It will be a huge treat for PS users, particularly those who are currently subscribed to the PlayStation Plus program, to play a well-known PS title like "Ratchet and Clank" for free.

To note, "Ratchet and Clank" was already included in the PlayStation Plus free games lineup in Asia last month, and PS Plus subscribers in North America and Europe are still waiting for the day that the game will hit their catalogs. This fact raises the possibility that the game will be offered in the West's PlayStation Plus program, perhaps as soon as February. If this is the case, it will not be the first time that a PS Plus free game in Asia was offered in North America and vice-versa, taking the PSVR title "Until Dawn: Rush of Blood" as an example.

After a big AAA title, the PlayStation Plus February 2018 free games lineup will likely get a set of small indie titles. It is rumored that 10tons Ltd's "King Oddball" will make it to the list, in which players will assume the role of King as they use his tongue to skip over the obstacles in the field.

In other news, PS Plus subscribers in the U.K. have received an early treat ahead of the February 2018 free games announcement, as Sony is offering a promo wherein current PS4 owners can avail a discounted price to avail the PlayStation Plus program. Specifically, PS4 users can apply for a 15-month PS Plus subscription, all for a price of one-year membership. The offer costs £49.99, which the players can avail until Jan. 24.
