PlayStation Plus December 2017 lineup: New game titles revealed; Sony to officially confirm games soon

Game enthusiasts have been waiting for the official announcement of the PlayStation Plus December 2017 game lineup. Sony has yet to give any further details about it, but it is expected to be announced in the last few days of November or in the first week of December.

It has been known that Sony is not giving the exact date for the revelation of the new free games. However, the company usually unveils the titles' lineup on the first Tuesday of the new month. Although its official release date is not yet revealed, here is the list of games for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita.

For PlayStation 4, "Worms Battlegrounds" will be included in the PlayStation Plus December 2017 game lineup. The "Bound" will also be on the list for both PS4 and PlayStation VR. Also, the "Dungeon Punks" will be free for PS4 and PlayStation Vita.

For PlayStation 3, "R-Type Dimensions" and "Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic" can be played for free. For the PlayStation Plus Bonus, "Until Dawn: Rush of Blood" will be part of the roster, but PSVR will be needed to play the game. Also, "That's You" will be available via PlayLink. Lastly, episodes 1 and 2 of "Broken Sword 5: The Serpent's Curse" will be free for PS Vita.

Meanwhile, PS4 users are now raising their concerns on Reddit if the upcoming PlayStation 5 can support the current PSVR units in the market. According to reports, this might not be possible as Sony is not yet open to use the backwards compatibility program. This can be proven by the incompatibility of the PS3 controller with the PS4 game consoles without the use of a third-party adapter.

It has been said that PS5 is now in the works, thanks to Worldwide Studios and President of Sony Interactive Entertainment America Shawn Layden. But, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot recently predicted that it might still take two years before game enthusiasts can lay their hands on the new-generation game console.
