"Outlander" season 3 episode 13, titled "Eye of the Storm," will be the Starz series' final episode, and it looks like it will end with a bang. As Geillis Duncan (Lotte Verbeek) now returns, there will be an epic face-to-face between her and Claire Fraser (Caitriona Balfe).

In the season finale's official synopsis, Claire will be forced to play a cat and mouse game with an enemy from the past, while she is searching for Young Ian (John Bell). This opponent is believed to be Geillis. With that, the Frasers are going to race through the Jamaican jungle to avoid the unthinkable from happening.

In "Outlander" season 3 episode 3 trailer, it looks like Geillis is going to use Young Ian to complete a spell that will unlock the way to time traveling again. This is said to be done on the island. In the previous episode's talks about the 200-year-old baby, it looks like Brianna will also be in danger.

Claire will do everything to protect her daughter from Geillis in "Eye of the Storm." With the expertise of Verbeek's character in sorcery and dark arts, she will be a big threat to the Fraser family.

Fans were all surprised to see Geillis return in the previous episode of "Outlander" season 3. "I was delighted to do it," Verbeek told New York Post.

To recall, she was first seen in the show's first season as Claire's friend in the 18th century Scotland. However, it was later revealed that Geillis is also a time-traveler who wanted to kill her husband and see a Scot sitting on the British throne.

In the penultimate episode of "Outlander" season 3, she literally emerged from a blood bath, while Young Ian was watching. However, her return was just an addition to the show, and not really based on Diana Gabaldon's "Voyager." "They made the choice of doing a scene that's really quite out there," she said about the network.

"Outlander" season 3 episode 13, titled "Eye of the Storm," will air on Sunday, Dec. 10, at 8 p.m. EST on Starz.
