Russell Westbrook has officially chosen to stay in Oklahoma City Thunder this season, but the team is not done rebuilding itself and is need of superstars to reinforce Westbrook's play.
According to the latest Oklahoma City Thunder trade rumors, the team is looking to recruit forward Gordon Hayward of the Utah Jazz.
In order to make the trade, the team is reportedly planning to let go of center Enes Kanter, who was actually a former Utah player.
Back in 2011, the Jazz selected him as their third overall pick. Utah was Kanter's home until 2014, which was the year he landed at Oklahoma.
Now, it looks like the Thunder is ready to bring Kanter back to his first home in what is imagined as a rewarding deal for both teams.
Hayward is expected to be an asset for Oklahoma City, thanks to his versatility and scoring abilities. According to Ecumenical News, Hayward is closing in on an All-Status.
The 23-year-old's talents will definitely be of great help to Thunder and could be one of the top superstars that should boosts the team's status back to player contender.
With Hayward, Westbrook and guard Victor Oladipo all on the same team, the Oklahoma City Thunder will have what it takes to rise above their huge loss in Kevin Durant, who bolted to the Golden State Warriors.
