The National Football League (NFL) playoff picture for 2018 sees the Philadelphia Eagles locking the top seed in the National Football Conference (NFC).

All the Eagles have to do is to maintain that spot for their next two matches, both of which will be happening in their home court. The Philadelphia Eagles won versus Oakland Raiders with a late touchdown on Monday, Dec. 25, which initially helped them secure their spot.

Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams have also secured their spots in the NFC. They will be faced, however, with extremely capable defensive teams such as the New Orleans Saints, Carolina Panthers, Seattle Seahawks, and Atlanta Falcons on the other side.

However, the Pittsburgh Steelers are not doing well at the moment since their wide receiver Antonio Brown tore his calf muscle in the game versus the New England Patriots in Week 15 of the conference. According to CBS Sports, Brown may not be returning to the first round of the playoffs.

He can still come back, however, for the divisional round of the post-season. Brown's return for the first round will give the Steelers a massive offensive advantage versus other teams. The Steelers could even make it to the 2019 Super Bowl with Brown in the team.

The Pittsburgh Steelers could also become untouchable among other NFL teams with their quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. He may not be in the top three quarterbacks in today's NFL, but he can be the best passer on NFC when he's playing.

Meanwhile, schedules for the next American Football Conference (AFC) Wild Card Round, Divisional Round, and Championship Game are now available. According to Bleacher Report, the Wild Card Round will be on Jan. 6 and Jan. 7. The AFC Divisional Round will be on Jan. 13 and Jan 14. The AFC Championship game will be held on Sunday, Jan. 21.
