The highly popular police procedural drama television series, "NCIS," is still on its three-week hiatus, which has made fans of the show anxious for the return of its brand new episodes. While the show isn't set to return just yet, new reports have revealed some of the plot summaries for the next few episodes and it looks like the show's short absences may be worth the wait.

The team of special agents from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service will get right into the action when the show returns in season 14, episode 9. According to the recently released plot overview, the team will be assigned to investigate the growing threats against a U.S. congresswoman.
