NBA trade rumors 2017: Boston Celtics no plans to be part of the trade, OKC might move Paul George

On Friday, Dec. 15, NBA teams can trade their free agents that signed in the offseason. In fact, there are swirling rumors that Paul George will be moving to Los Angeles Lakers, while Boston Celtics seems to have no plans of getting involved.

NBA teams can now have any player they want. However, it looks like the Boston Celtics has no intention to be involved in the trade. In the basketball team's blog, the group based in Boston, Massachusetts said that it has been totally revamped last summer that it does not need to "change things up too much," unless it feels like it has to.

Celtics also believes that its team works out just fine, so the NBA trade system is not part of its options yet. In fact, it admitted that it is not yet sure of everything as its Max free agent only played for just five minutes. Also, its free agent may come out on the court next season.

On the other hand, Los Angeles Lakers is eyeing to have major free agents this summer. In fact, there are swirling rumors that the Oklahoma City Thunder wing, Paul George, will be part of the NBA trade and move to the L.A .team.

The 27-year-old player was traded to the OKC last summer. With this move, a lot of fans believe that his team would be one of the best groups in the Western Conference. However, his team-up with Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony failed to do so. If truth be told, the OKC could sit below .500 and would be out of the playoffs.

As George's contract is still up in the air after this season, and with the OKC's possibility of losing another star player, basketball enthusiasts believe that the team could put him to the NBA trade. According to reports, the only reason that the OKC could keep George is for lack of leverage.
