Conspiracy theories are so prevalent nowadays, and this will be the main subject of the upcoming "Lethal Weapon" season 2 episode 9, titled "Fools Rush In." Derek Richardson will be joining Roger Murtaugh (Damon Wayans) and Martin Riggs (Clayne Crawford) as the new episode's guest star.

The 41-year-old star will be playing the role of Jonah, a conspiracy theorist, who will be caught and interrogated by Riggs. In the upcoming episode's official synopsis, Riggs and Murtaugh will be exploring the world of conspiracy theories.

In the trailer, Jonah is led into questioning, where he reveals to Riggs that "something crazy" is happening in Los Angeles. Riggs then tells Jonah that he talks like a crazy man, to which the latter confesses that Elvis Presley is taking control of the city's traffic in "Lethal Weapon" season 2 episode 9.

Murtaugh, on the other hand, also thinks that Jonah is insane, but Riggs later realizes that he might be telling the truth. In "Fools Rush In," Murtaugh finds a man dressing like the late Presley himself, controlling the traffic lights while holding a remote control-like device.

"Elvis has left the building ... back from the dead and strapped," Murtaugh tells Riggs. And although Riggs is in the middle of a date with Molly (Kristen Gutoskie), in the call of duty, he comes to Murtaugh even if it means he has to jump off from the bus' open top.

Elsewhere in "Lethal Weapon" season 2 episode 9, Riggs and Molly's relationship moves forward. Alternatively, Murtaugh and Trish (Keesha Sharp) do their best to get their daughter, Harper, into the top pre-school they can find and give her the best education possible.

"Lethal Weapon" is an action comedy-drama series, which is based on the film series of the same name. It is created by Shane Black.

Season 2 episode 9, titled "Fools Rush In," will air on Tuesday, Dec. 5, at 8 p.m. EST on Fox.
