In the next episode of "Lethal Weapon," Martin Riggs (Clayne Crawford) and his partner Roger Murtaugh (Damon Wayans) search for the culprit of a local jewelry heist.

The trailer and promotional photos for the upcoming installment, which is titled "An Inconvenient Ruth," were just released recently, and they show Murtaugh taking out his gun and pointing it at a black car that is trying to get away. "You! Step out of the car now!" he yells at the driver. However, the car suddenly backs up and tries to hit the detective. Murtaugh sees the oncoming car and instinctively jumps on the roof, and clings to it for dear life. Apparently, he does not want the culprit to get away. Riggs is surprised at his partner's actions and immediately starts his truck to chase after them.

He presses on the gas pedal but the truck unfortunately does not start. He then calls for backup to go after Murtaugh and the speeding jewelry thief. The elderly detective continues to hold on to the car and is at wit's end on how to stop the culprit. It remains to be seen if Murtaugh will be able to apprehend the perpetrator and come out of it alive. In the meantime, Riggs has to deal with withdrawal symptoms from drinking. He usually has this under control but had to stop recently because it was affecting his job.

In the last episode, Riggs and Murtaugh helped their fellow detective Bailey (Michelle Mitchenor) catch a trio of murderers. They went after Bailey's sister who was involved in a robbery homicide. The cops were able to catch the culprits and bring them to justice. Bailey's sister was safe in the end as well.

"Lethal Weapon" season 2 episode 15 will hit the airwaves on Tuesday, Feb. 6, at 8 p.m. EST on Fox.
