After "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" star Jinger Duggar and soccer player Jeremy Vuolo got engaged last week after only a month of courtship, both their family members showered them with congratulations and well-wishes.

Jeremy's parents Charles and Diana Vuolo are confident the couple will have a happy marriage because they are both rooted in their Christian faith.

"We are thrilled about your engagement and we just wish you the best. We know that the journey is a good one," Diana said in a video shared on Jeremy's blog. "With that assurance, we can smile at your future. We're blessed about this wonderful event that's coming up. I can't wait for the wedding!"

Charles told Jinger, "We're just thrilled with the prospect of having you in our family, adding you as a daughter to our family."

Meanwhile, Jinger's parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are also excited for what's in store for the young couple. "We are so happy for them both. Above all, we are so grateful for their love and commitment to Christ. We are so excited about another Duggar wedding! We know that wonderful days are ahead for Jinger and Jeremy and we are looking forward to every moment! Our entire family rejoices!" they wrote on their blog.

Jim Bob and Michelle are grateful how Jinger and Jeremy were brought together by the Lord, and they know they will continue to serve Christ together when they finally tie the knot.

Once Jinger and Jeremy start their own family, Jeremy hopes he can live up to his father's wonderful example. "He is the most gracious, loving, kind, Christ-like man I have ever known," he gushes. "Even through the hardest trials of life, he has demonstrated to me what it means to be a man who loves Jesus Christ with all of his heart, mind, and soul and others as himself."
