As the Duggar family continues to move past their trying times, the titular stars of "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" have shed a tear, been brought down and are getting back up as they create and expand their respective families.

In the third and final instalment of the TLC special, Jill and her husband Derrick Dillard open up about adopting a child during their missionary trip in Central America. In the promo for the episode, the couple revealed that they will be spending time with orphaned kids at a children's home.

This is where the thought about adoption was brought into play. "I can definitely relate to Jessa and Ben's desire to adopt and we're definitely considering it," Derrick says in the "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" promo video. "Who knows? We came down to Central America as a family of three. We could go home as a family of four," Jill teases.

Jessa and her husband Ben Seewald will also touch on the subject in the upcoming installment. Fans of the former "19 Kids and Counting" stars will remember that back when they were newlyweds, the couple already talked about adopting kids.

Even when their first baby Spurgeon Elliot has arrived just last month, Jessa and Ben are not discounting the possibility that they will still adopt in the future. In fact, as revealed in the previous "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" episode, they were advised to wait until their son is 9 months old to push through their plan.

In that episode, Anna Duggar also finally opened up about her husband's cheating and child molestation issues. During her appearance there, she revealed that she will stick by Josh as this is what she vowed to God when she married him.

"I would love him and forgive him and that I would wait patiently and allow God to work in our hearts and my prayer and my heart's desire is for our marriage to be restored," Anna said as quoted by FOX News.

"Jill and Jessa: Counting On" episode 3 airs Dec. 27 at 9 p.m. ET on TLC.
