In the coming Netflix series "Jessica Jones" season 2, it looks like there is another hero who wants to join the New York City's private investigator played by Krysten Ritter. Emma Dumont, who plays the role of Lorna Dane/Polaris in "The Gifted," expresses her interest in doing a crossover in the Marvel television show.

In an interview with Screen Rant, the 22-year-old star wants her role to team up with Jones. Will there be a crossover in the Netflix superhero series "Jessica Jones" season 2?

Unfortunately, Dumont admitted that this may never happen — Marvel Cinematic Universe and X-Men Universe are two different worlds. "They're not related and they're totally different universes," she said. However, the actress added that Lorna and Jessica have some similarities. Thus, she wants the two characters together. She described that they would be a weird duo and they are somehow lookalikes.

Aside from their looks, they are both troubled and unpredictable women. Just like Jessica, who is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) because of Kilgrave (David Tennant), Lorna is also experiencing some mental health issues. However, the two will never be seen together in "Jessica Jones" season 2.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Women's Health, Ritter talked about how she got punched in the face and ended passing out on the set of "Jessica Jones" season 2. "I saw the blood everywhere," she said. This caused her to panic.

The 35-year-old star continued to say that it was the first time that she felt like a loser. She admitted that she did not know how to throw a punch at first. As she is doing it now all the time, it makes her feel very strong just like her character.

"Jessica Jones" season 2 is now in production and set to be released in 2018 on Netflix. The entire episodes of its first season are still available on the streaming network.
