Zombies often get the look whatever they do in public, but this will change in "iZombie" season 3 as the undead will now enjoy more freedom going about their everyday lives.

The new season will introduce The Scratching Post, which will serve as the hottest hangout for Liv (Rose McIver) and other zombies, and a place that will allow them to have fun without fear of getting a stink eyes.

"The number of zombies in Seattle is going up at an alarming rate, and it's high time someone capitalized on the undead's desire to socialize with their own kind," showrunner Rob Thomas explained to Entertainment Weekly.

Originally to be called the Coldcock's (which happens to be a name of a brand of booze), The Scratching Post will be the latest zombie attraction in "iZombie" season 3.

"It's a speakeasy where one needs to be able to eat a ghost pepper without flinching to be allowed in, but once inside, brains and hot sauces from around the world are available for the discriminating zombie," Thomas explained.

The Scratching Post will be a place for zombies to get together, but it appears that it might also be the venue where evil ones can hatch eviler plans in "iZombie" season 3. Needless to say, the new establishment will be located underground.

The new season of the hit series will take zombies to the next level. In the first two seasons, only Liv was able to eat brains and take on different personalities. This time, Major (Robert Buckley) will also be able to do so.

This is expected to be a great source of hilarity for this season as the latter is imagined to slip into some crazy roles. As for zombie visions, Ravi (Rahul Kohli) has found a way to make them more vivid and long-lasting.

"iZombie" season 3 is scheduled to premiere sometime next year.
