It has been quite a busy year for Apple as the company has now managed to saturate the market with a number of brand new consumer devices, including their latest smartphone, the iPhone 7. With the release of the new iPhone and the new Apple Watch 2, fans are now looking forward to Apple's latest high-end tablet offering, the new iPad Pro 2.

The company was highly expected to have made a presentation regarding the new iPad Pro earlier this month. The iPad Pro 2; however, was an apparent no-show as Apple mostly focused on their newly launched devices.

Following the event, new reports are now coming out which suggests that the iPad Pro 2 may be coming out next year instead and that it will likely be coming in three distinct screen size variants.

According to a recently published report by KGI Securities analyst, Ming-Chi Kou (via macrumors), the iPad Pro 2 will likely be coming out next year. The analyst also speculates that the company will likely be releasing a 10.5-inch version of the iPad Pro that will be catered towards the commercial and education markets.

Several reports have also claimed that the 10.5-inch version is just one of three variants, which will include a 9.7-inch variant and a larger 12.9-inch variant. As for the rumored specs of the devices, both the 12.9-inch and the 10.5-inch models will reportedly be coming with the company's own A10X processor, while the smaller 9.7-inch model will come with a A9X chip.

The new iPad Pro 2 is also rumored to be coming with a lot of features that are similar to those on the iPhone 7. This could mean that the new tablets might be coming in even sleeker designs and might even possibly be water resistant. The device will allegedly be released in the first quarter of next year.
