iOS 8.2 Jailbreak to be unveiled at Mobile Security Summit?

 Facebook

Is it possible to jailbreak iOS 8.2? To date, there has been no official word on how to do so. However, one Chinese jailbreak group could have something for eagerly awaiting Apple device owners running on iOS 8.2 and it could be shown at the Mobile Security Summit to be held over in Beijing.

TaiG, one of the top Chinese jailbreak groups known today, could show that off come the said event. And with groups like Chronic-Dev Team, of greenpois0n fame, and JailbreakMe author Comex on board, hopes are high that a jailbreak for iOS 8.2 would finally be divulged.

Though the event doesn't assure that a jailbreak will indeed be available, the next best thing Apple users can hope for would be a jailbreak for iOS 8.1.3. And with a lot of jailbreakers and tech experts in one gathering, there could seriously be something up over there and hopefully a jailbreak for either iOS 8.1.3 or iOS 8.2 could be revealed.

An earlier post here on Christian Today which mentioned that there could possibly be a beta version for the iOS 8.2 jailbreak is another point folks may be clinging on to despite initial claims that iOS 8.2 is not jailbreakable. But with TaiG claiming that they were able to pinpoint the exploits for iOS 8.2, hopes are high that such could eventually materialize.

In the same post, it will be recalled that unless a working and effective jailbreak iOS 8.2 does come out, jailbreakers are advised to avoid messing with the iOS 8.2. Apparently doing so could mess up any device where it may be applied, a reason why many are discouraged to apply any unofficial iOS jailbreak, at least for now.

With that said, all eyes are now on the Mobile Security Summit. Will there finally be an iOS 8.2 jailbreak shown? Keep your fingers crossed!
