Many iOS users are still waiting for an iOS 11.1.1 jailbreak version despite the improvements that iOS 11 has to offer. For now, there is only a beta version for iOS 11 jailbreak, but its fate is still uncertain.

The said beta version was demoed by KeenLab at MOSEC on an iPhone X. The team also had a demo of the iOS 10.3.2 jailbreak. For now, there is very limited information about its progress. Aside from that, there is not any news if this will be released to the public. Instead of a jailbreak for iOS 11, there is a possibility that a new version for iOS 10.0.x will be revealed.

The last known functional jailbreak was for iOS 10.3.3. However, there is no public demo for this jailbreak. Due to Apple's effort in patching security vulnerabilities, it becomes harder to do a jailbreak. Apple recently sped up its release of new software updates that deliver new improvements and updates. The latest iOS 11 update includes a unified Lock Screen and Notification Center, a new iPad dock, and a customizable Control Panel.

Hackers are on the lookout for loopholes that can help them create jailbreak versions. In order to avoid that, Apple continuously updates and fixes security issues. This is the reason why iOS 11.1.1 jailbreak is not yet available until now. As a matter of fact, it appears that there is no more chance to run any jailbreak version because of the current security features of Apple.

Users who still want to run a jailbroken software do not have a choice but to settle for the iOS 10.3.3 version since it is the only stable jailbreak available. Since iOS 10.3.3 is still being signed for iPhone 6s, users can still downgrade from iOS 11 to 10.3.3 on iPhone 6s.

Some users are looking for ways to jailbreak their device in order to use other software that are not allowed on iOS. Jailbreaking is still legal and it unlocks some capabilities for the iPhone that users can enjoy.
