iOS 10.2 Beta 2 release date news, updates: public beta testers can now access latest beta build

Apple has slowly been building up their latest operating system version — iOS 10 — for the past few months and now they are apparently ready with their latest update, iOS 10.2. The company has just made the latest build of iOS 10.2 beta 2 available for public testers who are members of the company's beta testing program.

Earlier in the month, the company had made the first beta build of iOS 10.2 available for select members and registered developers.

The second beta build, however, is now being made available to its public beta testing members. Members can now get their copy of the new update by visiting the "Software Update" option under their device's "Settings" menu.

A lot of the changes that are included in the new beta build had been previously announced by the company during its recently held October event, where it had also unveiled its latest MacBook Pro laptops.

The latest beta build for iOS 10 includes the new Apple TV app, which was created to help users find the exact types of media they want to watch at any given time. The app quickly organizes and finds movies, shows, TV programs, and other purchased media for its users.

Another new feature that is included in the new beta is the operating system's new Emergency SOS function. The SOS feature lets users immediately contact different emergency services by simply pressing their device's power buttons five times.

Several of the apps that have already been made available in iOS 10 are also getting a revamp, which includes the Music app now having redesigned buttons.

iOS 10.2 also introduces a save feature in the Camera app, which allows users to save their camera settings. The new feature prevents the camera settings from getting reset every time the app is closed or restarted.

Other additions within the new beta build include new emojis, new wallpapers, and a new widget for the Videos app.
