The new Honda Civic Coupe 2016 has finally been unveiled, mere two months after Japanese mobile manufacturer boasted its latest generation Civic sedan. Honda made sure to improve the performance of the vehicle while making it look extra good.

The newly unveiled car borrows most of its good looks from the original as seen last year, although it has been made longer, lower and wider than its predecessor and definitely more tasteful. To achieve this, it was made necessary to leave out the rear-space seat, which the Coupe from last year had.

These changes should make for a sportier look and feel. Honda also went for no less than premium quality material and high-contrast finishes with the interior of the Honda Civic Coupe 2016 packed with a soft-touch instrument panel and LEDs.

Its stitching is waiting to be admired and the seat fabrics are of high quality. In terms of legroom, the interior of the car was made more spacious, widening the room with 8.4 cubic feet. There's a 7-inch display audio system, complete with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability.

More notable standard features include an auto on and off headlights as well as LED daytime running lights. Unlike the Coupe before it, this brand new model also sports acoustic glass windshield and automatic climate control.

The Honda Civic Coupe 2016 also picked up certain facial features of its sedan counterpart with the same but newly minted front fascia that gives the ride a sleek veneer. Making sure it looks good down to the rear, Honda had an entirely new design for the Coupe's its now extended LED taillights.

As for what's inside of the car, its power is promised to be as good as it looks. The base models boast a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, which handles a 158 horsepower and 138 pound-feet of torque. If that isn't enough, buyers can go for a 1.5-liter turbocharged four with 174 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque.

The Honda Civic Coupe 2016 will be ready to drive by March 2016.
