Video game developers Io Interactive have an early Christmas treat for fans of their stealth and assassination game "Hitman." They are making the Paris missions, as well as selected add-ons for the 2016 game, available to download for free.

Io Interactive is bringing the free stuff to the players with the name "Hitman Holiday Pack." It will include the bulk of the Paris destination for the game, like the "Showstoppers" story mission and the "Holiday Hoarders" mission. Agent 47's Santa Suit can also be unlocked and worn at any location.

In addition, 18 Escalation Contracts will be available to the player. The "Professional" difficulty for Paris will also be unlocked.

The freebies also come with 20 levels of Paris mastery, which come with six equipment unlocks. Players can also complete more than 100 challenges and aim for seven achievements for the Xbox ("trophies" for those who play the game on a PlayStation 4 console).

In line with the festive theme, the Secret Santa Challenge Pack will also be included. Those interested in the supernatural will get along with the quirky Vampire Magician Challenge Pack.

Besides the Paris locale, some parts of the International Contract Agency (ICA) Facility can also be accessed for free. Two story missions and two Escalation Contracts will be made available, and players can earn 17 Xbox achievements or PlayStation 4 trophies in this location.

The download window is from Dec. 15 2017 to Jan. 5, 2018. Once users download the Hitman Holiday Pack, they get to keep the Paris destinations permanently. Players also get to keep their progress and masteries if ever they choose to upgrade to the "Hitman" Game of The Year Edition.

"Hitman" is the sixth entry released in the video game franchise of the same name. It was first launched in March 2016 and was made available for the Xbox One, PlayStation4, Mac, and Windows PC. A Linux port was introduced in February 2017.
