'Heroes Reborn' plot spoilers, release date news: What to expect

Heroes Reborn

Titan Publishing has announced the launch of a new comic book titled "Heroes Reborn." The publishing company acquired the right to publish the said comics, which is based on NBC's reboot of the TV-series "Heroes" into "Heroes Reborn". Through its tumblr page, the company announced last June 10 that the license it acquired from Universal Partnerships and Licensing will start with a five-story arc which will feature one of the new main characters for the series. The development of future issues is yet to be confirmed by neither NBC nor Titan Publishing.

The comic book will not be about the episodes of the coming TV series, rather, it will feature stories that will complement the series; delving more into the character backstories and origins. "Our new Heroes series is being created in close collaboration with the team behind the NBC show," said Chris Teather, Titan Comics Publishing Director through the same tumblr page. Teather further added, "These aren't just comics; they're bonus episodes!"

The TV series' supervising producers Zach Craley and Seamus Fahey will write the storyline for the comics while Rubine is tasked with the illustrations. This is Fahey's second take on writing a comic book adaptation based on a TV series. He has previously written Batterstar Galatica, THR reports. The comic book, together with the TV show, is set to be released this Fall, Oct. 2015.

Not every cast of the former "Heroes" TV series will be back for "Heroes Reborn". However, Jack Coleman who plays Noah Bennet, Masi Oka for Hiro Nakamura and Jimmy Jean-Louis who plays the Haitian will all be part of the coming "Heroes Reborn". Sendhil Ramamurthy who plays Mohinder, as well as Cristine Rose will once again play Angela Petrelli. Entertainment Weekly, in an article, announced the new cast list, "The new cast includes Ryan Guzman, Robbie Kay, Danika Yarosh, Judith Shekoni, Kiki Sukezane, Henry Zebrowski and Gatlin Green."
