Blizzard has just released a brand new patch for their multiplayer online battle arena video game "Heroes of the Storm." The patch itself is quite huge and contains a plethora of brand new content that will include a new character, a brand new game mode, and several other Halloween-themed additions that are all set to go live this coming Halloween.

The brand new update — which has already been made available — will contain a new character named Samuro. The melee-type blade master Assassin is well known for his roles in the "Warcraft" franchise and he apparently brings with him all his signature moves.

The character is all about stealth and agility and is able to use his skills to both deal damage and distract his opponents. Samuro is also able to create mirror images of himself which are meant to confuse his enemies as well as deal massive damage. Samuro also brings with him his whirlwind skill which is now his Heroic ability in "Heroes of the Storm."

Along with the new characters, a new Brawl mode has also been introduced. The new mode is similar to the Brawl modes that are found in Blizzard's other games, including "Overwatch" and "Hearthstone."

The new regularly rotating mode will reportedly have new rules every week with different maps, restrictions, and mutations, that will make each and every battle a unique one. One example that was presented by Blizzard was a mode where all players were playing as Sgt. Hammer with her thrusters engaged throughout the game.

Blizzard also unveiled some Halloween-themed content that is included in the update, which will all become available from Oct. 25 to Nov. 8. The special edition content will include a Scarecrow Xul and The Deputy Valla skin.

There will also be different Hallow's End Bundles that will be made available which will grant players access to a new mount in the form of the creepy "Eye Pad."
