Global Christian Network Set to Open HQ in 2005

The Global Christian Network (GCN) will open its headquarter offices in the Metro Atlanta area in January 2005.

GCN will join television giants such as CNN, TNT, TBS Superstation, The Weather Channel, Cartoon Network, and other broadcasters, including Christian media ministries such as In Touch Ministries, Leading the Way, and Back to the Bible.

The Network purchased the 10,000 square feet structure in November 2004 which is located on 2 acres of land. Final preparations are being completed for the facilities, which will accommodate administrative offices, production studios and broadcast facilities.

The new headquarters will conduct all Network businesses which include GCN’s administration, distribution and affiliation relations, donor development, television production, programming development, marketing, public relations, promotions, and broadcast.

"This is an exciting time for GCN. The new facilities are ideally suited to our needs and with the coming opening we can get to the real business of producing and broadcasting innovative and compelling Christian television," said GCN Executive Director Néstor Colombo.

The first television broadcasts are expected to be launched from GCN’s new headquarters in Loganville by mid 2005.

The Global Christian Network was founded by a group of visionaries around the world, including South Korea, Russia, Australia, England, Spain, Latin America, and the United States.

It is a non-profit, charitable, religious and educational organisation incorporated on June 2, 2004 in Georgia. The Network’s purpose and vision is to produce, distribute and broadcast high quality Christian and family-value programming to local and regional affiliate stations and networks worldwide in five different languages.

The Network promote their mission as being to directly impact the cultural, artistic, and spiritual quality of life for viewing families and individuals with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
