Franklin Graham warns President Obama: Veto on pro-life bill at your 'own peril'

More often than not, Reverend Franklin Graham disagrees with US President Barack Obama on a number of issues. Recently, Graham expressed disagreement with the President with regards to the Iran nuclear deal and the Supreme Court ruling on same-sex marriage.

This time, Graham finds himself at loggerheads with Obama on the issue of funding abortion service provider Planned Parenthood.

"After much heated and emotional debate, on Friday the House passed the Defund Planned Parenthood Act. This is a great step," Graham posted on his Facebook page. "The bill stops government funding of Planned Parenthood for at least the next year — to the tune of around $500 million annually — while Congress investigates the allegations against them including selling baby body parts. I'm thankful that those supporting this bill stood firm."

Graham noted that the bill still has to pass the Senate, thus prayers are still needed to stop Planned Parenthood's operations once and for all.

The evangelist expressed concern that Obama might use his veto power to scuttle the bill. He said the President will be committing a great sin should he do so.

"President Obama has said he will veto the bill — if he does, it will be at his own peril and the blood of those children who are butchered at Planned Parenthood will be on his hands," said Graham.

The evangelist's followers agreed with him wholeheartedly. Connie Hansen commented on his post, "This is at the top of his long list of bad things he has done during his term of office. He will have to answer to God."

"Obama and most Democrats love abortion and celebrate it — the later term the better. They fight for it in their Party Platform. The Democratic Party has become a party of barbarians," added GB Lee.

Jesse Laseter also wrote: "This President is doing everything he can to bring down America and Christians! I hope and pray the Republican-controlled House and Senate will have the backbones to control his executive orders! If not he will go wild."
