The first day of December was an exceptional treat to "Dragon Crown" fans, as a new trailer featuring the popular character Sorceress was released.

Vanillaware gave fans a glimpse of the Sorceress's skill in battle in the latest trailer released. In it, she wades through her enemies gracefully by doing magic. Some of her special moves include turning her enemies into a bunch of frogs and even summoning a hurricane with just a flick of her wand.

"Bewitching women with knowledge of dark magic. They are weak of body, but the great knowledge they wield of the arcade arts cannot be ignored," read the Sorceress's official description in Dragon Crown Pro's official site.

"Sorceresses can create delicious food, control skeletons, and turn foes into harmless frogs. A jack-of-all-trades support class, they can provide aid to their friends in countless ways."

To those who have previously played "Dragon's Crown," the Sorceress is one powerful support character. She is also the most popular character in the series, thanks to her ravishing good looks and exceptional skill in dealing magic to her opponents as well as teammates.

The Sorceress's character trailer is the fifth one Vanillaware released. Past character trailers include the Dwarf, Fighter, Amazon, and Elf. The Fighter is a strong warrior. With its sturdy armor and shield, it can protect teammates within its proximity. The Amazon is a character who can easily handle two-handed weapons, and even without them, she can still deal a deadly kick.

Meanwhile, the Dwarf is a deadly character as his burly frame allows him to wield weapons with each hand, while the Elf is perfect with long-ranged combat as she is exceptionally skilled in hitting targets with her arrows. There is no Wizard character trailer released as of yet.

"Dragon Crown Pro" will be exclusively ported to the PlayStation 4. It will feature cross-play with the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita versions, new soundtrack played by a live orchestra, and 4K support. The game will be released in Japan on Feb. 8 of next year. As of the moment, no Western release date has been announced.
