"Dragon Ball FighterZ" is already released and many gamers are pleased with its retro-vibe. Although it already features many recognizable "Dragon Ball" characters, there are still some characters that players would like to see.

The game includes Android 16, Android 18, Beerus, Captain Ginyu, Cell, and Future Trunks. It also features Frieza (Final Form), Young Gohan, Adult Gohan, Goku, Goku Super Saiyan Blue, Goku Black, Gotenks, Hit, Innocent Buu, and Kid Buu. Also part of the game is Krillin, Nappa, Piccolo, Vegeta, Vegeta Super Saiyan Blue, Tien, and Yamcha.

Joining the roster of playable character is Android 21, which is a new character that did not appear in the anime or in the manga. She is a powerful antagonist who transforms when she powers up. During her power up, she looks similar to Majin Buu with pink skin.

According to GameSpot, despite the iconic characters that are already part of the game, there are still eight fighters which will be added as a downloadable content. These characters are not yet revealed but the outlet speculates that it could either be Broly, Jaco, Launch, Chi Chi, Dabura, Dr. Gero, or Master Roshi. It also added that Mr. Satan, Raditz, Vegito, Caulifla, Videl, Uub, Kid Goku, or Akira could possibly join the game's roster.

Meanwhile, ComicBook reports that the game will possibly release Broly, Bardock, Zamasu (With Fused?), Vegito (Blue?), Cooler, Android 17 (Ranger), Base Goku, or Base Vegeta in the upcoming months. There could also be two additional modes which is the Z Union and Z League. Details about these modes are not yet revealed.

"Dragon Ball FighterZ" is a 2.5D fighting game which is based on the "Dragon Ball" franchise. It is developed by Arc System Works and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Although it is on a 2D plane, its characters are rendered in full-3D. Because of this, the character designs are highly appreciated by gamers.

The video game was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The gameplay borrows the concept of other fighting games like the "Marvel vs. Capcom" series. Players can choose three characters for their team. With this, the player can control one character and switch to another player whenever one needs to.
