Christian televangelist Benny Hinn's Facebook page was hacked recently by unscrupulous individuals who put "filthy material" into his social media page. Fortunately, Hinn was able to reclaim his account and restore it back to its normal state.

To celebrate the restoration of his Facebook account, Hinn shared a photo of himself and wrote a letter of appreciation for his "dear partners."

"I want to thank all my wonderful and dear partners! Thank you for your amazing support and prayers during the past 48 hours. As you know, our Facebook page was hacked, and filthy material was placed on it. We have been working very hard to restore it back into our hands. We now have control of it!" he said.

Hinn said they are taking extra precaution so as not to encourage a repeat incident. Despite the hack, he said he feels grateful for the outpouring of love and support he received from fans and ministry partners.

"The ministry is moving on stronger than ever. Our precious Jesus will be glorified, no matter what happens throughout the world. This is not my Facebook page, this is His Facebook page. It is His ministry. And we are here to serve you, encourage you daily, and minister to you," he said.

Hinn is pretty eager to get the word out that his ministry's Facebook page is "back in our hands" and that "the devil's plans were defeated!"

He shared the Bible verse Romans 8:37 that says, "In all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us."

Earlier this year, Hinn was rushed to hospital after suffering from atrial fibrillation, a relatively common heart problem resulting in an irregular and often unusually fast heart rate. But he underwent treatment and speedy recovery, for which he praised the doctors who cared for him.

"I've seen the hand of God at work, both through prayer and the physicians," he said. "God is faithful. My heart is strong. I have no heart damage. My arteries are not blocked. There is no arterial damage."

"The AFib is being treated effectively, and my rapid heart rate has reduced considerably," he added. "I'm feeling stronger every day. The prognosis is good for a speedy and complete recuperation, and I'm so glad to be heading home to continue my road to recovery."
