Popular televangelist Pastor Benny Hinn's family is seeking prayers for his recovery after he was rushed to the hospital due to a heart attack.

His daughter Jessica Hinn Koulianos wrote a letter in her father's website and shared how her father's condition took a turn for the worse after going to a crusade in Brazil.

"After he arrived home he suddenly began battling fatigue and shortness of breath," she said. "For those of you who know my dad, you know that he never stops; so when he spent over a week in bed, we knew something was wrong,"

His daughter did not say that Hinn, 62 suffered from a heart attack, and only said that he is undergoing treatment for "lack of oxygen in his cardiovascular system." Hinn's doctors agreed, saying that the pastor's tests proved that he was "strong and free of plaque."

She and the rest of the family are all looking forward to seeing Hinn's health improve as days go by, and asked the rest of the world to help pray for his recovery too.

"At this moment, his physicians are conducting thorough tests, the results of which have been very positive. He is alert and in good spirits, and we expect he will be released later this week," Koulianos wrote. "By God's grace and with the help of your prayers, we are told to expect a complete recovery."

Hinn was well enough to write about his condition in his website, saying that it will take a few more weeks before he is able to regain all his strength. But he remains hopeful that he will be able to go around the world and preach again in no time. "My doctor has assured me that I should have no lasting impact from what happened. And to Jesus be all the glory!" he wrote.
