Destiny: Xur Item Inventory this weekend; What's worth buying?

House of Wolves exotic items are available from item merchant Xur, Agent of the Nine. However, the Gjallarhorn rocket launcher isn't part of this week's inventory.

For those that are playing Destiny, Xur's appearance during weekends is always looked forward to. The disappearing NPC only appears for two days, from 5 a.m Friday until 5 a.m Sunday EST and hence, players rush to see what's in the random weekly inventory.

This weekend, July 3 to 5, Xur is stationed at the right side of the Tower Hangar, near the shipyard and just below the first set of stairs. Here are the exotic items he has for sale this weekend:

Insurmountable Skullfort; Class:Striker. According to JA [Sakred Gaming], the stat roll is great for it is only 5 off max discipline. Although it has some pvp and pve applications, he advises to pass on it if you are tight on coins.

Lucky Rasberry; Class: Bladedancer. The same source approves of the Stat roll. He says, "Buy it if you play PvP with a Bladedancer. If you only do PvE - skip it. This is the best armor sold this week though."

Apotheosis Veil; Class: Warlock. Another great stat roll according to our reliable gamer source. However, he notes that it is not the greatest of Warlock helmets and that he advises to pass unless it's needed for Crota's End Hard Raid.

Universal Remote. For this shotgun, he would want you to pass if you don't have that many strange coins. Only pick it up if you have excess coins or want it for collection. Fun over practicality is what this weapon offers.

Other exotic items included are the Shard and Engram.

Below is an indepth guide for this week's items that are available from Xur.
