Each of the clans that are currently playing the highly popular online first person shooter video game "Destiny" have always prided themselves on their group's achievements. One of the most sought after goals for the strongest clans in the game is to be the first ever in the world to complete any given raid that is dished out by Bungie.

However, a certain glitch in the game may have caused one team to lose the top spot as they were apparently forced to spend additional minutes that pulled down their chances of being the first in the world to finish the "Wrath of the Machine" Hard Mode Raid.

One of the strongest clans in the game called "Redeem" has apparently been deprived of a first record because of an issue that caused them to track back and redo an encounter that they had already completed.

The team had streamed their entire Raid attempt and at the 24:04 mark of the video, the team was forced to respawn to a previous spot and had to redo the entire "Dead Zamboni" encounter a second time.

According to a game analysis by Eurogamer, one of the team's members might have tripped an invisible barrier as he went ahead of his team. The game itself might have thought that the team was cheating, which caused the entire clan to be wiped out and to respawn.

Because the team had to redo an entire encounter for a second time, it had cost them a total of six minutes on their run time. The extra time then caused them to land in the third spot for the Raid record.

Because of the time lost, the current clan to conquer the new "Wrath of the Machine" Hard Mode Raid first goes to the German clan, Die Busfahrer (The Bus Drivers). Redeem was fortunately very sporting about their defeat and then released a statement congratulating the wining team.
