'Destiny' King's Fall challenge: How to defeat Golgroth and get 320 loot

 Bungie

Golgroth is the star of this week's "Destiny" King's Fall raid challenge. Awaiting successful players that defeat the ogre are generous rewards including a whole host of rich 320 loot, a unique emblem, Calcified Fragment and a bunch of additional gifts related to the completion of the mission.

Needless to say, a bounty as big as that doesn't come easy. This week's challenge is no doubt much more difficult in comparison to the Warpriest challenge last week. For a while, gamers were at a loss figuring out a way to complete the challenge.

After tons of attempts, "Destiny" players have found that the single orb strat, which is believed to be the most common strategy there is, won't do the trick. Taking down Golgroth isn't as easy as rotating gaze holders either, much less a single rotation.

But as what gamers found out eventually, Golgroth certainly isn't unbeatable. Gamerant cites a strategy successful players used, which involved using all six orbs each phase and wielding a different gaze holder each time.

Every fireteam member should at least be able to take hold of the gaze at least once during the first attempt. "Destiny" players can then proceed to the second attempt by rotating gaze holders until Golgroth eventually knocks out. One gamer has also offered to share online his "super easy tactic" to show how this is done.

Beating Golgroth endows players with 320 light level drops, allowing their characters to boost up and get stronger. Players that are able to dominate the challenge will get to enjoy gauntlets, chest pieces, or boots that are all rated 320.

It is also being said that Golgroth may also churn out an additional level 320 item upon his loss owing to the fact that Warpriest granted players relics of that same level when it was defeated.
