After developer Bungie released "Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris" DLC last month, fans were disappointed due to varying factors. However, there is a reason to be excited since a certain leak may have revealed the next big expansion of the game for "Destiny 2: Gods of Mars."

Players of the online-only multiplayer first-person shooter video game note that the game lacks endgame content. Aside from that, the developers faced an XP controversy that moved "Destiny 2" to release an event called The Dawning. But this also resulted in another controversy since the game's loot box system was not awarding the players.

Despite this, many gamers are still anticipating the next expansion, which is called "Destiny 2: Gods of Mars." According to reports, a Reddit user shared a photo of a PlayStation Store page that was made available for PSN users for a limited time. The user who posted the said image deleted their account in an attempt to erase all traces about the person behind the leak.

The leak reveals that the new expansion will be out in March 2018. It comes with a description that details about the second major expansion of the game. It says that the player-character will go on a long journey to the Vale of Mars, which is a dangerous location.

The new location will feature new missions, new enemies, and public events. It will focus on Charlemagne, who was reawakened on Mars and imprisoned Rasputin. Players will work with Ana Bray in order to free Rasputin from the ancient vault. Gamers will also need to team up with Ana Bray to fight off Charlemagne's forces.

The upcoming DLC will also contain new themed weapons, armor, and brand-new gear. The leaked image also states that there will be a new set of multiplayer arenas, new cooperative activities, and a new enemy faction with new bosses.

"Destiny 2: Gods of Mars" will be priced at $19.99. This manifests that Bungie has learned from its previous expansions that were tagged at a high price like "Destiny: Taken King," which is priced at $39.99.
