'Days of Our Lives' spoilers, plot news: Will learns more about his past with Sonny

Will (Chandler Massey) may not remember the life he had with Sonny (Freddie Smith) back then, but he is interested in learning more about it now. "Days of Our Lives" spoilers for next week's episodes indicate that he will be curious about their history.

Sonny will obviously be delighted that Will is interested in another shot at a relationship, or as of now, a budding one. He will also be interested in what they used to have, as they were married before. Hopefully, he will know enough in time for Christmas.

Longtime viewers can recall that Will betrayed Sonny, and now that he is aware of that too, he will realize that their relationship has taken a lot of hits. But, perhaps to Will's surprise, Sonny is only remembering the good times that they had together, especially during the moment he saw him again. Will might wonder why Sonny remains so loyal to him. It is apparent that Sonny cares, but he will want to understand how their relationship turned out.

Sonny will be glad that Will wants to listen. He has made some progress in getting to know himself through his loved ones. Naturally, Will was overwhelmed by the sudden recollection of memories when he saw them back in Memphis. He did not think that he was who everyone thought he was. He could only remember being with Susan (Eileen Davidson) when he was brought back to life, so Will has had quite an adjustment period ever since he returned to Salem.

Will will learn about the good moments he and Sonny shared, but of course, he will also learn about the rough patch they went through. Sonny is determined to never give up on Will again. It is possible that whatever Sonny tells him will trigger at least one memory. Either way, the two former flames will reconnect and perhaps reestablish their romance down the road.

With that in mind, fans are wondering where Paul (Christopher Sean) stands in this situation. Paul might decide to move on to someone new. Although he is no longer with Sonny, they could always still be friends. Will might even help them rebuild their bond.

"Days of Our Lives" airs Mondays to Fridays, 1 p.m. EST on NBC.
