An emotional send-off is ahead for Sami (Alison Sweeney) on "Days of Our Lives" this week. Spoilers hint that she will have big moments with several characters, most especially with Will (Chandler Massey).

Sami will have some moments as she prepares to leave town. But before that, she will have a shot at reconnecting with her son. Will will confess that his uncle Eric (Greg Vaughan) convinced him to hear her out.

Sami will naturally be grateful for this chance at making things right between them. She will feel guilty for having to resort to drastic measures to make him remember everything again. Bringing Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) into this was a horrible idea on both ends, so she will continuously apologize for it. She will also be sorry that she came on too strong when they were in Memphis.

Sami might also say that she could have dealt with Susan (Eileen Davidson) a bit better during that time, too. Either way, Sami will ask Will for forgiveness on nearly everything she did while looking for him. Fortunately, he will forgive her for her actions. Although there will still be some tension between them, what Sami will tell him next might help ease it some more.

She will say that she is only making life difficult for Will by staying in Salem. Sami will maintain that she will give her son some space and meet him again when he is ready. Knowing that Will has been feeling overwhelmed by everything that has happened to him, he will appreciate it. Plus, Sami has to come back to her other kids too. So, for now, this is a farewell to her.

Along with Will, Marlena (Deidre Hall), Roman (Josh Taylor), John (Drake Hogestyn) and Eric will all bid her goodbye. Teary eyes and big hugs will also be included before Sami hits the road.

Sami will promise to come home again at some point. She will also make sure that Will knows that she is only a phone call away. Her plan might actually work. Although Will is still unable to remember his old life yet, he is up for learning about it.

"Days of Our Lives" airs Mondays to Fridays, 1 p.m. EST on NBC.
