"Days of Our Lives" will be taking a hiatus on Monday and is set to return on Jan. 2, which continues the story about Vivian's (Louise Sorel) return. She arrives in Salem with Stefan (Tyler Christopher), whom she claims is the son of Stephano (Joseph Mascolo).

Kate (Lauren Koslow) will clash with Vivian. She will get into a confrontation with Vivian right away, blaming her for the sabotage in the DiMera Enterprises. Kate will assume that it is Vivian who orchestrated everything.

Aside from Kate, Chad (Billy Flynn) will not be happy to see Vivian and Stefan. Like Kate, Chad will also think that the mother and son have something to do with the sabotage in their company. Abigail (Marci Miller) will vow to help Chad in putting Stefan down.

However, Stefan will make a huge revelation that will shake up the DiMeras. According to him, he bought a bank that holds the mortgage on the DiMera mansion. He will suggest staying in the house with Chad and Abigail. He will even try to seduce Abby by showing her his abs. Stefan will try to ruin the marriage of Chad and Abby by flirting with her while in the mansion. Will Stefan get Abby or will Abby remain loyal to her husband this time?

According to CelebDirtyLaundry, the arrival of Vivian and Stefan in Salem will no doubt bring trouble to the DiMeras. Vivian will be a fierce rival for Kate, while Stefan and Chad will obviously not get along well. The two will stick around in Salem for some time with Stefan following the instructions of his mother. What are their real intentions?

On the other hand, spoilers reveal that Abe (James Reynolds) and Theo (Kyler Pettis) will get some news about Theo's medical condition. To recall, Ciara (Victoria Konefal) was left heartbroken after she made a confession to Theo but ended up being rejected. Because of that, she will get drunk and will make a scene at the New Year celebration of Chad and Abigail. Ciara will try to reveal what happened between Rafe (Galen Gering) and Sami (Alison Sweeney).

"Days of Our Lives" airs weekdays at 1:00 p.m. EST on NBC.
