Several characters are about to face some drama that is heading their way on "Days of Our Lives." Spoilers reveal that one of them is Eli (Lamon Archey).

Everyone knows that he is a little disheartened since the FBI ordered his dismissal from the agency and now he is wondering if he should just pack his bags and leave town. Of course, Gabi (Camila Banus) will be against that idea. She likes him and the two of them have gotten a lot closer lately. Gabi would want to see where this connection between them is headed.

Eli will reveal his plans this week. Gabi will try to convince him that leaving is far from the best idea. She will also point out that Valerie (Vanessa Williams) will be sad if he decides to leave.

Fortunately for both of them, Eli will land a job in Salem. Unfortunately, he will have to deal with some tension there as well. Eli will be working for the Salem Police Department, meaning he will be working closely with Rafe (Galen Gering).

The two of them have not been on the best of terms ever since the hostage situation involving Raines (Aaron D. Spears). Despite Gabi's insistence that they should be grateful to him for saving her, Rafe is bent on the risk he took to do it.

Fortunately, Gabi is set on stepping up for Eli. She may push Rafe to put his issues with Eli aside to maintain the peace.

Even though Rafe can be grouchy, he would do pretty much anything for his little sister. That is how great of a big brother he is. Rafe will eventually agree to let Eli become his new partner. There may still be tension between them, but they will manage to work together. Unfortunately, there will be more trouble coming for Eli soon.

Next week, Sheila (T-Boz Watkins) will be begging Eli for help, but he will have a bad feeling about this. The two of them do have a past, and if Eli helped Sheila out, it could put his newfound career at risk.

Meanwhile in the coming weeks, "Days of Our Lives" spoilers could probably answer what Sheila will need Eli's help for. The jig is up for Bonnie (Judi Evans) and possibly even her.

Steve (Stephen Nichols) will be paying Hattie (Deidre Hall) a visit at Statesville. He will want to know what Hattie knows about "Adrienne" (Judi Evans) as well as their fake therapy session. It is obvious that Steve is finding his "sister's" behavior bizarre. The real Adrienne will continue to suffer in prison, but perhaps not for long. However, Steve is not the only one who finds her behavior strange. Justin (Wally Kurth) will also wonder what is going on when Bonnie got engaged to Victor (John Aniston).

While Bonnie and Victor will go on with their nuptials, Adrienne will finally manage to get her hands on a phone. She will immediately call Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) and help will be on her way. Lucas will not initially understand that a switch was made, but Justin will be able to explain.

Justin and Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) will be able to stop the ceremony from continuing, but Bonnie will try to make a break for it. She will plan her escape with Sheila, and this might be what she will ask Eli's help for. Clearly, Eli owes her for whatever he did to her before.

"Days of Our Lives" airs Mondays to Fridays at 12 p.m. EDT on NBC.
