A whirlwind of events will occur in Salem this week on "Days of Our Lives." Spoilers indicate that Ben's (Robert Scott Wilson) return will alter the future of Salem's citizens.
First off, he will manage to disrupt Chad (Billy Flynn), Abigail (Marci Miller), Sonny (Freddie Smith), and Paul's (Christopher Sean) wedding. Abigail will be overcome by rage at the sight of her crazy ex and will immediately throw a punch his way. No one has made Abigail more miserable than Ben.
After she confronts him, Ben will be taken into custody, while Hope (Kristian Alfonso), Rafe (Galen Gering), and JJ (Casey Moss) will struggle to escort him out of the church. Ben will suddenly blurt out that Will (Chandler Massey) is alive, so this means Sonny will come face-to-face with him later on. Ben will assure him that Will is not dead and even though he will not explain as much, Marlena (Deidre Hall) may attempt to get one.
As for Gabi (Camila Banus), things will look up for her in the romance department. She will share a kiss with Eli (Lamon Archey). Eli has been there for her all this time, and they have even become friends again. This time around, Gabi definitely senses that something could happen between them.
In the midst of all these revelations, spoilers reveal that another one will be coming Nicole's (Arianne Zucker) way this week. Not only will she find out that Eric (Greg Vaughan) has feelings for her too, but Brady (Eric Martsolf) tried to keep the two of them apart. For now, Nicole will continue looking for Eric and bring him back to Salem.
Although it may not be too surprising for Nicole to find out that Eric still carries a torch for her, she will be shocked when Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) reveals that Brady threatened Eric into firing her so they would not have to work together. Nicole will be in denial over Brady's actions, but she will eventually accept that Brady was showing one face to her, and another to Eric.
When Nicole finally gets to Eric, will she be able to bring him back to Salem? Marlena could not convince her son otherwise, so will Nicole get him to agree? What will Brady do when Nicole finally confronts him and rips into him in the process?
Brady may not have much of a choice left but to explain his actions. Whether or not Nicole will stay with him or leave him for that remains to be seen.
"Days of Our Lives" airs Mondays to Fridays at 12 p.m. EDT on NBC.
