Abe rips into JJ for shooting Theo in "Days of Our Lives"

"Days of Our Lives" spoilers reveal that JJ's (Casey Moss) mistake has created a big divide in Salem. His actions have already gathered a lot of backlash and it does not look like it is going to get better any time soon. It is the Carvers against the Hortons, but the DiMeras are not going to be able to stay out of this as well.

Theo (Kyler Pettis) continues to fight for his life, and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) will try to get through to Abe (James Reynolds). Unfortunately, Abe will be too angry to even consider forgiving JJ. The thought of losing Theo will crush him. He already had to see Lexie (Renee Jones) die, the last thing he needs is to see Theo slip away as well.

Nevertheless, Jennifer will still try to urge Abe to be optimistic. She will hope that Theo will be able to make it and help them heal this crisis. Abe will then say that there will be trouble if Theo ends up dying. He would have no reservations holding this over JJ's head as well as his family, but fortunately it has been confirmed that Theo will make it.

As to why the DiMeras are not going to be able to stay out of this, Kate (Lauren Koslow) will be plagued with guilt. She was a little reluctant to let Theo carry on with their plan, but he convinced her that he could take care of himself. While she did try to call the whole thing off, she was too late. Kate will have to live with what she did to both JJ and Theo.

Kate will be up in arms in trying to cover up her involvement in this whole scandal. She will be desperate to do it, but she will feel guilty enough sooner or later. This will lead her to make a confession to Andre (Thaao Penghlis). Even though the two of them may not have always seen eye to eye, they do understand each other. Andre will likely see how guilty Kate is and promise to keep quiet about it.

Then again, Andre is not the only person Kate will have to deal with. There is also Tripp (Lucas Adams), who might be tempted to talk about his suspicions. He knows Kate and Theo were working on something, so he might confront her about it in the hopes of getting the truth. However, Kate will resort to blackmail. She will do whatever is possible to keep Tripp quiet about what he knows, but it is only a matter of time before the truth comes out. Should Abe find out, will he seek revenge on Kate as well as the rest of the DiMeras? Or will he choose to forgive her?

"Days of Our Lives" airs Mondays to Fridays at 1 p.m. EST on NBC.
